Leading one of Indonesia’s largest financial and organizational restructuring programs, including transforming cost centers and refinancing $2.8bn in debt, to regain profit and improve performance.
Tripled sales and profits while doubling exports at Indonesia’s manufacturing foundry. Performance was driven by expanding the product line, building global strategic partnerships, innovating with technology, establishing strong corporate governance, and instituting new practices to attract and retain talent.
End to end transformation – Achieved 73% increase in order book by strengthening marketing, reorganizing the supply chain, modernizing business processes, and instilling a strong culture of developing talent and leadership. Forged global partnerships to strengthen the position of Indonesia and Pindad.
Held various leadership positions in advancing Indonesia’s defense priorities covering strategy, defense industry policy, investments, institutional cooperation, business transformation, and regulation such as law no. 13/2004 – dismantling business of TNI – led 2000 companies.
Introduced economic issues in decision making; Advisor on economic issues to build Indonesia’s national interests, e.g., setting up invoicing practices, economic assessment policies, and introducing research and survey methodologies to understand people’s concerns.
As special advisor, played an instrumental role in attracting investments into Indonesia, reducing license processes, and setting up one window approval.
